Title: VI Victrix challenge Sacred Band
Description: Phase 1
Colossus - May 20, 2007 02:43 PM (GMT)
Hi, when you ready to play, default rules are fine :)
We are mainly GMT (or GMT+1), but one player in Austrailia, although we can be fairly flexible, 1 vs 1 games are probably easier to arrange though :)
Jarlaxle - May 24, 2007 09:00 PM (GMT)
Damn, sorry that so late, but I'm having madness at school, end of the season is soon, I have to correct a few things. Thanks for reminding me, Vangelis.
We prefer weekends, especially fridays and saturdays, but also we are able to play during the week. Our time is GMT+1. We would like to play on Friday, maybe 20gmt?
We are fine with defaults too ;)
Colossus - May 24, 2007 09:31 PM (GMT)
We are playing GWoC around that time sorry, is Saturday ok, im sure we will be around then?

Jarlaxle - May 26, 2007 07:15 PM (GMT)
damn forgot we are +2 now
Colossus - May 26, 2007 07:21 PM (GMT)
I cant guarantee a 3 vs 3, but we can do some now at least I hope.
EDIT: We can definately do 1 vs 1 now, perhaps 2 vs 2.
Colossus - May 26, 2007 09:08 PM (GMT)
VIVV win first 3 vs 3:
VIVV: Eygpt, Mace, Rome
SB: Pontus, Brits, Rome
Colossus - May 26, 2007 10:13 PM (GMT)
The second 3 vs 3 crashed (both lost around 25% of troops)
Do you (Titan) want us to replay it with same people/factions? One of their players had to go after it crashed.
Colossus - May 26, 2007 10:35 PM (GMT)
Sorry for my excessive posting, seems stuff is happening in stages:
VIVV won the first 1 vs 1:
VIVV: Dacia
SB: Sythia
Oisin - May 26, 2007 10:45 PM (GMT)
I am sure Titan will confirm this......but standard procedure when a game crashes (and providing result was far from certain) is to replay the game with SAME factions and EXACT SAME armies (ie units and upgrades are kept the same). The same players do not have to play but other than that everything else remains the same. :)
The Titan - May 27, 2007 12:02 PM (GMT)
as oisin said yes - if there was no clear winner, which is sounds like, then the game will be replayed with exactly the same armies and factions, but it does not have to be the same players, although it suits the clan more if it is id have thought!
Colossus - May 31, 2007 04:01 PM (GMT)
When is best to get the other 3 vs 3 done, we need a time really, as we need the same players and armies (Me, TubbZ, Varus, and then Jarlaxle, Jurand and Arek)
Also, I have a vague memory of the armies if you didnt save them, but not the upgrades on your teams rome.
Jarlaxle - May 31, 2007 10:52 PM (GMT)
yea, when could we finish it then?
Colossus - June 1, 2007 07:57 AM (GMT)
Well, we could try for this weekend, I cant guarantee that all our players can make it, but if not, we can perhaps play the other 1 vs 1, and the 2 vs 2 games.
Colossus - June 3, 2007 08:38 PM (GMT)
Have you got any times in mind for the 3 vs 3, as with you, we have exams soon, so this week week would be useful. As the 3 vs 3 will likely be the deciding game in the series, if we get that done, then then it will make finishing the series much easier.
We have your armies saved btw, ask if you want them, I guessed you dont want them posted here :D.
Jarlaxle - June 4, 2007 08:11 PM (GMT)
i'm after my major exams (fucked them up rly :| )but im away until sunday (going to Italy). we can play during the next week.
i'm also afraid i won't be able to handle all these tournaments. i have to look after rcs, ccs, twpl, twwc, vg, i even don't have so much time for playing, so i'm afraid it is our first and last serie in rcs. even my clan don't have time for rtw - our major players focus on mtw2 [twwc, ccs], minor don't play now. sorry...
Colossus - June 4, 2007 08:34 PM (GMT)
Well, it will be sad to see you leave, but it was a honour for us to play against the past winners of the biggest rome tourney, easily one of the best games we have ever played in :D
Btw Titan, Im hoping unlike CCS, that points that may be gained will be kept, as it would disadvantage any involved clan if they win games, but get voided, meaning the team still in will have less games played (thus less points). Imo, this system allows for drop outs, unlike CCS, so I dont think we have a problem there.
The Titan - June 4, 2007 08:35 PM (GMT)
yes, any points gained will be kept and results kept too....ladder system works becasuse number of games played will be different anyway - it favours good activity :)
ill be sad to see SB go too, please reconsider
The Titan - June 12, 2007 04:08 PM (GMT)
Due to the large number of Clans that joined the tournament after the start date, there will be an extension to Phase 1 only of one week. The new date for the end of Phase 1 will now be Sunday 24th June 2007. Any series not completed by that date will be carried over into Phase 2 to count as 1 of the 2 available series to play. However, there will be a chance for clan's to appeal to admins to award a forfeit win of the series if the opposition clan have made little or no attempts to arrange matches.
Forfeit applications must be submitted to admin in this thread so that we can then re-read the topic and judge whether to take action or not.
Good Luck in the rest of the series! :D
