Title: Decisions Regarding NO GoTW/GWoC

The Titan - July 24, 2007 01:51 PM (GMT)
The first issue here covered is that of New Order and their series vs. COR and BrL. The original decision was to void both series as 0-0, since I felt that none of the clans had really made sufficient effort to arrange the games. BrL and NO seemed to just not post, while in the COR and NO thread, most of that was taken up with petty insults. This made finding evidence of real attempts to play hard to find! However, having discussed the series with other Admins, we have agreed to award BOTH series to NO, who will win 7-0 by default and therefore receive the 3 points. BrL and COR will receive 0 points since no games were played.

It should be noted though: these series were awarded to NO purely on the basis that both BrL and COR had withdrawn from RCS. Had neither clan withdrawn, and the games still not been played, NO would not have got the points. We felt that none of the 3 clans really made sufficient effort to play the games in order to qualify for a default win. NO only receive the points due to the other 2 withdrawing, not because they made a good enough effort to play we feel.

The final point on that issue, now that NO have the points, we would ask for you to make a firm commitment to RCS if you wish to remain in the tournament. After 2 phases, you have played zero games, although not all your fault, we would therefore ask that if you wish to carry on, and we would like you to, but only if committed. Please try to make a good effort in Phase 3 to play at least one phase. :)

Now onto the GWoC and GoTW issue

Now onto the GWoC and GoTW issue. Firstly, I would like to point out that during this entire time, both parties have acted very immaturely and well below the standards I would expect of people your age. This tournament was, and is, meant to be for fun, and in my opinion, slanging matches have no place in it. That said, onto the decision…

For this, we have discussed the options, and re-read all relevant PM’s and topics. Noting that both clans have threatened to withdraw if the decision goes against them, we have aimed for a compromise. Since it had not occurred before now, there was no such rule, but we have decided to introduce one:
Any player who has represented another clan already in RCS, cannot play in ANY matches for a different clan

This, we believe, will solve this situation. Since Conan has expressed his view that no CROM members wish to play in RCS, we have agreed, as before, that TAoW will replace GWoC in RCS. TAoW will receive all of GWoC’s points and matches played, since the TAoW team consists mainly of old GWoC players. However, any new TAoW players who have already played in RCS for another clan will not be allowed to do so for the rest of the season.

Loopz provided this list:
Acunal has represented GWoC
FTD has represented GWoC
Pirx has represented NO
Ahille has represented HELL
Plague represented Blacklegion

On this basis, Ahille will not be able to play in RCS any more. Plague and Prix will both be able to since they played no games for their old clans, meaning that they have not actually taken part in RCS yet.

GoTW have already hinted that they would not mind if TAoW get GWoC’s points etc. just as long as no players from "other clans" are allowed to represent them, and this is the compromise which we too, felt was fair.

I hope that both clans will accept this decision, and can continue to arrange their games and finally get them played!

Please can all affect parties add their thoughts to this, but bear in mind that these decisions are now final, and will not change.

Fighting-Till-Done - July 24, 2007 02:38 PM (GMT)
Works for me, but when will Ahille be able to play?? Should he suffer the entire time, or just this series??

Lancelot - July 24, 2007 03:31 PM (GMT)
FTD its a blanket bann and it counts for everyone, if they have played for a different clan in RCS they cannot represent another clan for the rest of RCS.
So no im afraid that ahille wont be able to play in RCS for TAoW for the remainder of the tournament as he played in games for HELL clan

Fighting-Till-Done - July 24, 2007 03:44 PM (GMT)
That is a shame really..
I mean, they played like one series?? But, you guys are the admins..so ok then..

Yoshida - July 24, 2007 04:40 PM (GMT)
Prix played his 1v1s against BRL so we did actually play 2 Titan and according to what he said he won, and the effort was not on the other side as their were opportunities to play games but instead COR left the lobby(this happened twice), shame that there are only 7 clans about now though.

Acunal - July 24, 2007 05:12 PM (GMT)
well what if they left their clans and joined gwoc? you dont let people change clans anymore?didnt really make sense to me...

Lancelot - July 24, 2007 06:16 PM (GMT)
@ Yosh to my knowledge no games results were posted regarding 1v1s vs Brl sorry if im wrong.
@ Acunal, new recruits can play in RCS as long as they havent played any actual games for a previous clan in RCS

Fighting-Till-Done - July 24, 2007 07:20 PM (GMT)
Thanx yoshida for your input...

Colossus - July 24, 2007 08:07 PM (GMT)
Well if Yosh's input is true, it means pirx cant play for TAoW either...

Acunal - July 24, 2007 08:17 PM (GMT)
still doenst make sense to me to punish clans and players for playing in the clan they want but oh well...

No problem home boy.

The Titan - July 24, 2007 09:32 PM (GMT)
@yosh - as lance said, i never knew that any games had been played since no results were posted were they? if that is the case, then Prix will not be able to play for TAoW either.

@FTD - the ban is for the whole season. the reason is simple....say ahille had played against clan A, so knew their style, tactics etc. it is unfair that he can now play them again in my opinion, especially since he will have info on them already too.
it also helps to solve problems such as that with GoTW. if the rule isnt there, in theory, player X could constantly switch between 2 clans and play RCS games for both, so now they cant.

Acunal - July 24, 2007 09:52 PM (GMT)
why not ban ahille from the games vs the clan he played against only if thats your reason?

The Titan - July 24, 2007 09:57 PM (GMT)
but then, lets use this as an example:
Oisin hasnt played vs VIVV or Ares or Sith or New Order, or several other clans in RCS. If he was only not allowed to play the clans that Destroyers had played, what would stop him joining Clan A to play Sith, coming back to Destroyers to play Ares, joining Clan A to play VIVV, and coming back to us to play New Order.

This rule will stop people potentially doing that, and will keep it fairer in my opinion.

Fighting-Till-Done - July 24, 2007 10:33 PM (GMT)
The whole clan swap thing will not happen i assure you, but I will respect your decision (however unfair i see it). But, I never saw a result posted where Pirx played any matches, nor could I myself research..since the topics are hide from "our" view.

I still cant believe it, but... WE R AFTER FIRST BATTLE IN RCS TOURNEY!!!
I saw Zimisce from BrL, asked him if he sometimes goes to dest forum and he said we can play 1v1 now.
Hmm well we played one:
me attacking
Scythia (pirx) - dacia (Zimisce)
i won, but was very close game.
than he said he cant play second one.. Guess why..
Still write Legion on Yosh NO - BrL 1: 0
LOOOL

Post on our site by Pirx. He also told us he had the replay. It was never posted as the BrL challenge become a game of hide and seek.

Thats all! I even played one tourney game Friday with Zimisce (i won) but it doesnt matter. When ppl want to play sth only for more fun, not for wins - we cant expect to throw everything else and go playing. Thats all.

Fighting-Till-Done - July 25, 2007 12:16 AM (GMT)
Ok, so what are the dang Admins saying about this one?? I mean since everyone has to add some 2 cents in here.. Next series I am going to challenge NO and HELL anyways..since everyone has to say something..Just a big load of crap if you ask me...

I mean seriously, are you threatened? I would assume not... Just drop the points, we are out of this tourney and we wait for next season....

We did not make a challenge in phase 2 as we were waiting the outcome of the admins decision on CoR and BrL. We are, however, slightly dissapointed with the implecation that we made little effort. I would like to point out that NO had no problems arranging CCS games and that both Yoshida and myself have had no problems arranging games for the Noble arena, GSV, VGS or Tournament Central. I have played in the NA, GSV, TC and UK championship and had absolutely no problems with fixtures.

@FTD. Whereas I agree with you, that the "Clan swap" is not really an issue and believe that TaoW should be allowed to procede in this tournament. The rule has been made. What dissapoints me is that you seem to have looked no further than my NewOrder tag. Did you fail to see the name Legion22? Do, you believe that I have posted this in spite? or out of fear? Let us suppose that we accepted your intended challenge and that you won with Pirx playing. Does this not leave you open to a challenge from us? Reference to this game has been made in 4 threads on 2 forums by Myself, Yoshida and Pirx himself. So what if you challenged another clan who saw this reference? They could play the game in the knowledge that if you won with him playing, they could challenge the game on the grounds that he had already played for us. Dont forget who I am, my friend.

*Shakes head* :hmm

It's sad how people are actin like Jerkimus maximuses in here -_-

Fighting-Till-Done - July 25, 2007 12:53 AM (GMT)
Speak for yourself yoshida, Posting little tid bits..without in site..

Say something useful or nothing at all..cheers

@Legion (btw, i like this new @ thingy) If I read you post correctly (and I would like to say I did) i only saw another person trying to make sure we had little players for the rest of this season. So, do not worry, we just withdrew... So, however it was read or misread.. That is the result..cheers

he he bye ftd it was a pleasure playing with you.

we can carry on now without any further cheating going on.

pirx - July 25, 2007 07:42 AM (GMT)
Srry for late response (from wot i see now that wont change a bit, but..) but what can i say - everytime i come to Dest forum, i have Trojan transfer to my pc.. THats why i come only for,,big occasions.
Hmm i never saw so many 'Pirx's or 'Prix's in any topic ever..
Thx for all that splendor.. ;)
About my game with BrL - of course i did it, i would end that discussion earlier but (look above).
We played it 3-4 days before their withdraw from tourney. Legion or Yosh didnt post it cause i was away for 3 days and they didnt have replays of mine.
So after my comeback and seeying all that shit happening, there was no point in posting results.
But now its not important, as almost everyone withdraws.. I feel great pity that most players forgot how much heart put Destroyers in that tourney going. I really wanted to fight here (that was my first tourney ever), but imo one big mistake was made - too many clans focused mostly on mtw2 was invited and 'participated' (playing little games or not playing at all).
As for NO efforts and decision, i can say now more objectively:
- No - BrL - that BrL clan on Rome is a mistake, i asked Zimisce several times for making some team game (mostly we was only BrL), he always said later, later. This was only my determination we played 1 game.
- NO - COR - the only chance both clan could play this was imo at the start of the tourney (before all that quarelling and when i could see King on gs). After that only more shit came.
I really think that tourney should go on, but that decision is not in my hands.
I can only say 'srry' for Titan, Oisin TWF and other guys and thx for their determination.

spartak - July 25, 2007 09:46 PM (GMT)
well theres the answer so can we get this over with and focus on the matches while ALLOWING all players to play. seriously tit i dont like that rule either is it possible we could vote on it?
