The time has sadly come for things to change here in RCS. This tournament was never really meant to replace CWB, it was meant to be a fun tournament with a friendly atmosphere, where clans could meet in a competitive situation and enjoy some tough games. However, over the past month or two, that has not really happened. Clans have dropped out which is inevitable, but what is more disappointing has been the attitude of several members. We have put a lot of work into trying to make this tournament work, but of late, all our work seems to be going into sorting petty squabbles out, and frankly, we no longer have either the time or the patience to solve these issues.

Some clans have just not really made much effort to arrange and play games, hence why challenges from Phase 1 are still unfinished despite Phase 2 being over. Others have spend more time bitching and arguing that trying to play the games. I am not naming names, but you know who you are. The latest issue of banning players who have already played in RCS for another clan – I don’t like the rule personally. I never wished to bring it in, however, due to another argument, we were forced to. Without it, we knew that one clan would leave (GoTW), and if we made another clan simply re-register (TAoW), they would leave. It was brought in as a compromise, but alas, another clan left.

I have been very disappointed in the attitude of several clans too. Their attitudes seem very much to have been “if we don’t get our way, we’ll leave,” which, to me, is also quite poor. This tournament was supposed to be about fun. Tough games, competitive ones yes, but FUN. It was meant to be a challenge for everyone to enjoy. However, as soon as clans have met problems, they have either argued or left.

I want to make it clear that RCS is not being ended. It will continue, but something is changing. We would like to make it very clear that we don’t wish to have to spend an hour each week or so deciding what we can try to do to solve different arguments when the games are meant to be about fun.

Here is the List of currently Active Clans in RCS:
1. Destroyers
2. Vi-Victrix
3. New Order
4. Black Knights
5. (TAoW)?? - Can rejoin if they wish
6. Sith
7. Sons of Rome
8. GoTW
9. Ares

In my mind, it’s a nice number, which could make for a good tournament, but carrying on…

There are two choices now, either of which we are happy to use:
1) All clans that are still in RCS must pledge to drop the petty arguments and participate in the tournament in the spirit it’s meant to be played in. They must also be active and start sticking to the time frames allowed. If this is the case, RCS will continue as originally planned and we will try to get it back on track with lots of matches being played.

2) We will end the tournament as it currently is, and, instead, run what we were originally going to do, when we thought that CWB would never happen (I mean before it was brought back to life briefly). That was a mini-league of 5 or so clans, where each clan would play a mini-series against another. For this, unless something is done by the other clans, we would only be inviting back 4 other clans who we think are “active.” Those clans are Vi-Victrix, Black Knights, Sith and Ares.

To those four clans really, I make a personal apology, since they have all tried to play their games and arrange them as quickly as possibly. None of them have resulted to petty arguments, and, if the tournament was full of those clans, we wouldn’t have a problem. If RCS is ended, then I would like to invite all four of you back to participate in a mini-league where each clan would play the other once in a “series.”

The choice is yours now guys, we can either make this tournament work, in which case, we will continue to work hard and put in the hours sorting out games, phases, problems and fixtures, or, we can close the current league and all move on.

I would like for each clan to decide where they stand please. There is no need to turn yet another thread into flames, because, if that happens, I will simply remove clan emissary rights from that person. I haven’t done that yet to those players whose clans have withdrawn, but I can do. It’s not a threat, I am just here to have fun, as I like to think everyone else is, and to me, arguments are not fun.

TAoW will join, if "ALL" of its members can participate...

I have not understood all what you have written. however We Ares would want to continue the tournament therefore as he is or in other way .

Ce questo è quello che dice (riassunto senno divento scemo).

In pratica ha detto che L'RSC è un torneo per divertirsi, non certo il sostituto del cwb. Ed essendo tale bisogna solo divertirsi e non polemizzare come qualcuno sta facendo. Ci sono stati molti problemi e molti clan hanno mollato o peggio devon oancora giocare i match della prima serie. Visto che cosi non si puo andare avanti ci sono due possibilita.

1) O continuare con l'elenco di quei 9 clans e tentare di ristabilire l'ordine.
2) O tirar giu tutto e giocare solo con i 4 clan che ha elencato (victrix, noi , voi e i sith) + ovviamente i destroyers stessi facendo una mini lega da 5 sempre con la formula della serie.Questo perche non abbiamo mai dato problemi e siamo sempre stati disponibile e attenti a giocare o a tentare di giocare. Dice che sta a noi decidere. Non vuole polemiche,se ne dovesse trovare bannerebbe chi le ha fatte. Solo sapere se siamo d'accordo a continuare.

For TItan: Titan you know, we are agree with continue playing this tourney and dont worry you will not have problems by us. I think its better playing with those 5 clan you said cause as you said they are the most active clans here in RSC. The league table is staggered because a lot of clan have dropped (we won 2 series 7-0 with inactive clans...) so i think its better to restart RSC and play this mini-league.
Titan dont abandon this project, RSC with CWB format is a good tourney, lets resist and dont waste in a minute all the time you used for doing all this. :)

NO e' participate nella RCS. io capisco molti problemi nella clan pero mi piace RCS e mi paicerebbe andare con possiblita continuare con l'elenco di quei nove clans e tentare di ristabilire l'ordine.

i have never had any intention of withdrawing and weve tried to play our matches asap.
youve given your decision and i agree we all want to have fun its a game at the end of the day shame people dont treat it as such.

btw im not giving ultimatums our clan has consisted of same players and if you think weve caused problems then i apologise,but it takes 2 to argue.

Guys, as I said in the post I do not wish to end RCS - what I would like to do though is to make sure that any clan in RCS is ACTIVE. There are too many series which are taking well over 4 weeks to be played, which is making the tournament look too messy. By all means, I would like every clan to stay in it, however, I do not want the arguements and I do not want one series to take 6 weeks to play 6 games!!

If all clans can guarantee an increase in activity, then we can continue as it is :)

I cant really comment on which I prefer, as we made sure we challenged clans who:

1. Are Active

2. We knew would give a fun, challenging series, which is what we have had so far.

Personally im not bothered, we havent had the negative experiences of some clans, so it has never been a problem for us. When basically all our team was away, we stuck to one challenge, when we could have had two, simply to avoid problems.

I hope everyone can come to a sensible agreement over this :)

Titan - Id like to apologise for my part in some of the petty arguments on here, at the end of the day its a game we all play for fun and we should all make the effort as you have to make it work and enjoy!

I know COR are not active on Rome anymore, but FirstPrime has granted me permission to head a new COR rome division, which i hope by the time the next RCW comes around we will be ready to join in the fun!

there is no need to restart in my opinion, all there is a need for is for those clans left in it to make a commitment and make sure they are active, then we can carry on with everyone playing two series a phase which will then make it as good as it was meant to be :)

and about clans being able to use all their players?

In my opinion yes because all clans have at least 1 or 2 series won by forfeit..this is absurd...we have 4 series 2 won by forfeit and 2 lost... is this correct? I think no.

We have discussed the new rule at length, and, as i said before, i never liked the rule, and, since none of you seem to, we are going to withdraw the rule change. However, this will only be the case as long as players do not "clan hop" so that they could play for several clans. If ever we believe that that is the case, the rule will be brought back in.

The other issues raised:
RCS will not be restarting, it will carry on as it is - Phase 3 will start as of tonight as planned.

The current list of confirmed active clans is:
1. Destroyers
2. Vi-Victrix
3. New Order
4. Black Knights
5. TAoW
6. Sith
7. Ares

(8. Sons of Rome
9. GoTW)

SoR and GoTW are yet to confirm their commitment, but feel free to challenge any of the top 7 clans listed in Phase 3.

I thank you for your patience in this matter, and hope that we can get the tournament back on track and make it work :) I will update the league table in a few days when all of Phase 2 challenges are sorted so that you can see exactly who stands where.

seems weve been made to be the scape goat in this and made to look the bad ones.
all weve tried to do is play in this tourney and i feel the rules have been bent and twisted in every way to accomadte freinds who have clan hopped from week to week.
every time theres been an arrangement weve been there,weve never recruited any1 else our teams havnt changed and none of us have clan hopped.

we,ll officially withdrawer thanks for the time weve spent here id say its been pleasurable but it hasnt.

if taow bitch at you even more perhaps you,ll just bend over and give them tourney without playing any games.

i think the whole tourneys a farse and its just who sucks up to titan the most..

Personally i think this tournament is going better than i thought it would.... I knew there would be a lot of these negligible arguments.

I also think that RCS will be continuing and not restarting is best and fairest for all clans. If it was to restart it would have erased all the hard work the clans have been putting in these past months to get games together, to practise, to try new strategies.

I know destroyers have put all this work in.

ps. Titan is no ones fool he doesnt let ppl who suck up to him influence him at all.
He and the other organisers of this tournament have done what they think is fairest and best to all. :)
